I think I need to give some background to this: Monty Python used language in their live performances that was not permitted on BBC TV, and even then, they would not use the word “c***” directly. If you know Monty Python and their sketch “Travel Agent”, which features a customer, Mr. Smoke-too-much, who can’t pronounce the letter “C”, in the live version, when the travel agent suggests to Mr. Smoke-too-much that he should use the letter “K” whenever he uses a word with “C” in it, Mr. Smoke-too-much says, “I never thought of that!
