These two panels are about why I wouldn’t let my students have discussions. They’d always get political, and I would always get upset by their views and join in, even though it was just supposed to be an opportunity for them to practice their English. Shouting at them and lecturing them was not considered conducive to creating a positive learning environment. It wasn’t just me. This cartoon is telling a colleague’s story.
